Identity and eligibility
Tell the hospital your nationalities, residence and proposed identity documents. Ask about acceptance, relationship documents, translation and verification. One hospital’s answer is not a nationwide rule.
Can overseas reports be used?
Organise dates, laboratories, original results and prior treatment summaries. Ask the receiving hospital which reports it accepts and whether translation or repeat testing is needed.
Share a summary first
Begin with your goals and an inventory of records. Send full medical records and identifiers only through a secure channel confirmed by the hospital, with a clear recipient and purpose.
What should be confirmed before departure?
Confirm the hospital, appointment, contact and outstanding items in writing. Appointment information is not a final treatment plan; clinical assessment remains necessary.
